Taylor named Veterans Center leader

Life at Clinton Veterans Center has been running smoothly ever since its former administrator retired at the end of September, according to the center’s new administrator, Stephanie Taylor. That is thanks in part to a very well-planned hand-off.

A Clinton man who allegedly hit a bicyclist on purpose with his pickup is facing charges of assault, battery, or assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, and leaving the scene of an accident involving injury.

Oklahoma high school graduates’ scores on the ACT college-readiness exam declined in every subject this year, according to a report released recently.

Most colleges use ACT or SAT scores as part of admissions requirements.
