Christmas open house

The end of 2020 is finally in sight which brings the holiday season along with it, and in the spirit of giving, Clinton Christmas Connection will continue its 31-year tradition of providing gifts for members of the Clinton and Arapaho communities who might not be able to afford presents otherwise.

During Clinton Public School’s monthly Board of Education meeting this week, Superintendent Tyler Bridges discussed the current COVID-19 cases in the school system. Bridges made his presentation via video conference, because he was under quarantine protocol.

Skunks looking for new homes

Living in western Oklahoma, people have grown to live with or properly avoid critters that inhabit the area. However, some of these animals, like skunks, can pose serious problems for residents. And this year, skunks seem to be more active around Clinton.
