DEAR HARRIETTE: I love having my friend over, but every time she comes over, she overstays her welcome. She is an only child and a bit of a recluse. I think I may be her only true friend. Two proposals for redevelopment of the Glancy Motel and Pop Hicks properties were received at this week’s meeting of the Clinton Economic Development Authority.
Weatherford resident Rick Koch’s renovation proposal showed the Glancy and Pop Hicks properties being restored to their authentic state and fully operational within an 18-to-24 month period.
Clinton residents Matthew Blakeburn and Geoff Park’s approximate $1.1-million renovation for the Glancy and Pop Hicks properties is projected to occur in four phases ending in 2025.
