DEAR HARRIETTE: With the holiday season approaching, I am struggling with how to deal with my family. I come from a strict household that allows little freedom. Many of the adults are blatantly disrespectful toward me, my siblings, my cousins and each other. It is hard for me not to speak up, but I do not want to come off as disrespectful. I have tried to bring it up to my parents before, but they often find a way to shift the blame or dismiss the issue entirely.

Victor Mendez Rios, 59, of Clinton, is wanted on charges of first-degree burglary, domestic assault and battery resulting in great bodily harm, possessing a firearm after a felony conviction and threatening to perform acts of violence after an incident Nov. 11.

Sappington recognized in L.A. play based on Oswald

In his pursuit of the silver screen, Arapaho-Butler graduate Tack Sappington has made it onto the sets of some of the biggest production company’s films since he moved to Los Angeles in July of 2022. His most recent endeavors have led him to be a part of play called “Oswald: The Actual Interrogation.” It was his performance as gunman Lee Harvey Oswald that led to Sappington’s first critic review as an actor.
