WASHINGTON (AP) — Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell is criticizing the Republican National Committee for censuring two House GOP lawmakers investigating the “violent insurrection” on Jan. 6, 2021, saying it’s not the party’s job to police the views of lawmakers.

City of Clinton employees were working Monday morning on a water leak near the intersection of Sixth Street and Avant Avenue. Alex Tyler mans the street saw, and Gary Kluckner is ready to put the backhoe into action. CDN
Clinton resident Skyler Heap of Birds, 22, was arrested by Clinton police Sunday evening on suspicion of first-degree burglary and assault and battery. Her arrest occurred two hours after being released from the City Jail for another crime she allegedly committed the day before.
Clinton Public Schools is one of 330 districts in Oklahoma that will receive a portion of $38.5 million in Redbud Grant funds to be used in acquiring and improving school buildings. The Oklahoma State Department of Education announced that tax revenue on medical marijuana is being used for the Redbud funds.
As district judge for the Second Judicial District – which serves the counties of Custer, Beckham, Washita, Ellis and Roger Mills – Jill Weedon has the opportunity to serve the five-county community by administering justice.
