The filing period for the upcoming City of Clinton municipal office elections will open at 8 a.m. Monday, June 13, and close the following Wednesday, June 15, at 5 p.m. at the Custer County Election Board according to secretary Ann Brown.

The Clinton Band Boosters will be hosting their first ever Show Your Ride for Clinton Pride Car Show on Saturday, June 11. The show will be held from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Clinton High School parking lot on W. Gary Boulevard and is open now for vehicle registration.

One Elk City man was injured Thursday in a collision involving two vehicles on the State Highway 6/Interstate 40 overpass in Elk City.
