Southwest Elementary School went on lockdown Friday afternoon after an incident in the area according to Police Chief Paul Rinkel. While there was never a direct threat to the school, Clinton Public Schools Superintendent Tyler Bridges said the school went on lockdown to ensure students remained safe.
Clinton is starting a new weekly tradition for people who enjoy unique cars, whether they own a “hot rod” or not.
The Custer County Commissioners Board has approved contracts to start work on the courthouse bathroom remodel that is estimated to cost around $500,000. Two contracts have been approved from Architects in Partnership and Rick Scott Construction to begin working on bids and plans for the remodel.
