The Clinton Economic Development Authority moved to request funding from the City to begin the process of demolition at the Glancy Motel in the 200 block of Gary Boulevard at their regular meeting Tuesday. It also received updates on the work at the Whitten Inn located in the 2000 block of Gary Boulevard.
Over the Labor Day weekend, the Clinton Fire Department raised $12,025.87 for the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA) through Fill the Boot.
The search for a new hospital manager, the sale of land to the Public Service Company of Oklahoma (PSO), and work at the Glancy Motel were all topics of discussion at the Clinton City Council’s regular meeting Tuesday. Also discussed was the purchase of a roll-off truck for the solid waste department.
