Foss State Park will be hosting its Second Annual Christmas in the Park this Friday and Saturday.

The Cheyenne and Arapaho Tribes through the Native Youth Community Project will be hosting a Christmas Drive Thru 5:30 p.m.-7 p.m. Dec. 16 at the Clinton Middle School Parking lot for the families of any Native American students in third through eighth grade.

One race developed for the Weatherford School Board and it remained a three-person race for the seat at Western Technology Center, as of press time Wednesday.

Enrollment continues for students who want to begin or continue their educational careers at Southwestern Oklahoma State University during the upcoming 2021 spring semester that starts Jan. 11 on the Weatherford and Sayre campuses.

Today is the 345th day of 2020 and the 80th day of autumn.

With the close of the school board filing period for the area, David Mosburg will assume the open spot on the Clinton Public Schools’ Board of Education.
