Top students named for Arapaho-Butler

Arapaho-Butler High School has named Mason Red the valedictorian and Cheridan Shepherd the salutatorian of the 2021 graduating class.

Silos selected as page

Clinton High School senior Litzy Silos was selected to be a page for the Oklahoma House of Representatives for the week of April 4-8. Participants will be meeting members of the House, helping them with various tasks, taking part in a mock legislative session, and touring areas in the Capitol Complex that are off-limits to the general public.

Gardens to Go is a kid-sized project that comes packaged in a handy lunchbox, designed for youth in first through fifth grades. Gardens to Go educates children about horticulture in general, as well as different plants and their uses, said Shelley Mitchell, Oklahoma State University Extension assistant specialist, 4-H Youth Development.
