DENVER (AP) — Two school administrators were shot Wednesday morning at a Denver high school after a handgun was found on a student subjected to daily searches, authorities said.

For the second meeting in a row, the Clinton City Council chose not to go into executive session Tuesday during its regular meeting to discuss ongoing work to reopen the Clinton hospital along with pending legal issues surrounding the ending of its lease with Community Health Systems doing business as AllianceHealth.
All is well after the Clinton Fire Department responded to a grease fire Tuesday night at a residence in the 1400 block of W. Modelle Avenue after smoke alarms allowed occupants to get out safely and give firefighters time to douse the flames quickly.
