Stehrs able to return to operate body shop once again

After making a comeback from facing a deadly stroke last fall, Todd Stehr, with the help of his family and employees, has opened his body shop once again to help the community of Clinton after the assistance they showed him and his family during the health issues he faced last year.

Two subjects are in custody after Clinton Police responded to reports of shots fired in the 900 block of Gary Boulevard early Friday morning. With the investigation ongoing, the department has released limited information on the incident.

Literacy Fair set for Tuesday

Washington Elementary will be hosting its annual Literacy Fair, a time for students and their families to visit the school to see students’ projects, take in the school’s book fair, and participate in math games through the math night portion.

The City of Clinton has closed out its years-long powdered activated carbon (PAC) feed system project at the Clinton Lake Water Treatment Plant after supply chain challenges slowed down its progress. The project, partially funded by a Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), which is provided by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, will see Clinton’s water supply become cleaner and more appealing with less taste and odor problems.
