Current rates at the Riverside Golf Course were examined Thursday at the special meeting of the Clinton Golf Course Advisory Board. Potential rate increases were talked about with particular attention given to trying to keep price jumps minimal or non-existent for students and senior golfers.

Two young men from Mountain View were involved in a wreck around 6:10 p.m. Thursday about 4.5 miles south of Weatherford.

Funk family enjoys entertaining with music

Three generations of Funks rosined up their bows and played their fiddles hard during the National Western Stock Show’s (NWSS) Colorado Fiddle Championships. It is an event hosted by the Colorado Old Time Fiddler’s Association alongside the annual stock show in Denver. Clinton was represented in this competition by local couple Dwayne and Leona Funk.
