Some Clinton residents are upset after Clinton Cemetery groundskeepers allegedly picked up more than just old flowers left on graves this week in order to mow the cemetery grounds that have become overgrown with recent rains. Some claim gravestone decorations like crosses, rosaries, statues and other items were thrown into a dumpster while City officials say according to City ordinance, the City has no responsibility for items removed.
The annual Clinton Rodeo will take place at 8 p.m. today and tomorrow at Nance Rotary Park. A variety of events will be held including the crowning of the Rodeo Queen, Rodeo Princess and Pewee Princess.
