The Democrats are in a real mess. Moderates and liberals are sniping at each other with the same animosity they usually aim at Republicans.
DEAR HARRIETTE: I am so embarrassed. One of my dearest friends came to town, and we went out for brunch in my neighborhood. Afterward, we took a walk and ended up near my house. She asked if she could use my bathroom, and I had to say no. My house is a total mess. I could not allow her – or anyone else – to come inside. I felt so bad, but I did say no.
Dear Editor,
Remember the media cheers for Sen. John McCain when he stopped the effort to repeal Obamacare? McCain was a Republican frustrating a Republican policy goal, which was enough to earn the highest praise in some media circles. "It was a stunning moment," The New York Times reported, "a flash of the maverick John McCain, unafraid of going his own way despite the pleas of his fellow Republicans."
Oklahomans from Kenton to Idabel and Hollis to Quapaw understand the value of work and supporting our families. As Proverbs 14:23 states, “All hard work brings profit, but mere talk leads only to poverty.” Unfortunately, the “talk” among Democrats in Washington, DC, will lead many of our families to poverty.
