Shortly before 7 a.m. Tuesday there was a home explosion approximately four miles west of Clinton on 2200 Road, north of Modelle Avenue. According to Clinton Fire Chief Brett Russell, there was one fatality and another individual injured in the incident. This is an ongoing investigation and more details will be made available later.
