Oklahoma Public Schools will stay closed for the remainder of the year.
As quoted from the Oklahoma State Department of Education's Twitter:
State Board of Education votes 7-0 to keep Oklahoma school buildings closed, implement distance learning plans for remainder of school year due to #COVID19 pandemic. #oklaed In-person instruction & extracurricular activities are cancelled, but "learning must continue"
The vote ends high school sports for the year as well. OSSAA has not made a statement at this time, but nothing is likely to change.
