Red Tornadoes are on same page early in preseason

Few teams in recent memory can claim a two-year run of the Clinton boys’ basketball program’s caliber, logging two winning seasons, a combined record of 34-20, a district title and an area tournament appearance.

Clinton Public Schools will be closed all next week for Thanksgiving break, and once again the district has arranged to provide meals at no cost for Clinton students age 18 and under, said CPS Nutrition Director Crystal Sharp.

Store will be ‘destination spot’

A one-of-a-kind retail store will open its doors in downtown Clinton the first Saturday after Thanksgiving, just in time for the holiday shopping season.

Incumbents from Clinton, Arapaho-Butler and Weatherford school districts have all declared intentions to run again for their seats when the candidate filing period opens Dec. 2.
