Reader on a quest to find new role models

DEAR HARRIETTE: I have been looking for inspiration because I feel a bit lost right now. I realize that my role models from before have not been good examples for me, and I ended up modeling behavior that was not beneficial. I have been looking for new sources of inspiration on social media and in newspapers, but those have been unsuccessful and disheartening. I do not know where to look anymore, nor do my friends have suggestions for me or role models of their own.

Radio ablation used to eliminate thyroid nodules

Dear Doctors: I had a kidney transplant two years ago, and I have developed thyroid nodules. Are they dangerous? I would like to ask about radio ablation to remove them. Is it an established procedure, or is it in the investigative stage? What does it entail?

An early morning wake-up call for the Clinton Fire Department Friday luckily didn’t amount to much after a call came in for an electrical fire at Sleep’s Bakery, located at 2231 Gary Blvd., turned out to be just a heater malfunction.

An Erick woman died Thursday evening as a result of injuries suffered from an accident on Route 66, four miles east of Erick.
