Dear Doctors: When I told my dentist that I'm having knee surgery this summer, she said to be sure the surgeon knows that my hair is naturally red and not dyed. She said redheads respond to pain drugs differently, and that she actually has to use more anesthetic on me. Is that really true?

Elections for District 26 state senator, District 57 state representative, and District 1 county commissioner as well as primaries for the state offices of governor, attorney general, commissioner of labor, corporation commissioner, state auditor and inspector, superintendent of public instruction, District 3 U.S. representative and U.S. senator were also held.

After recent Facebook posts created worry and confusion about rumored violent crimes in the area, Clinton Police are reminding citizens to always wait for the facts from official sources and are assuring that the community would be notified if ever there was a direct threat to it.
