In a battle of archrivals, Clinton High School soccer welcomed Weatherford Thursday to the Tornado Bowl for the 2024 version of the “Custer County Conflict” The Reds (10-3, 5-0) took control of the district, as they gave the Eagles their first loss of the season with a 3-0 win.

University of Oklahoma Vice President and Director of Athletics Joe Castiglione announced Tuesday that OU’s 2024 seasonopening football game against Temple in Norman will now be played Friday, Aug. 30, one day earlier than originally scheduled. Kickoff for the contest will be at 6 p.m. CT and the game will be televised by ESPN.

On a cold and windy day, the Clinton Lady Reds golf team participated in the Patsy Poole Invitational in Elk City where the Lady Reds won with a combined card of 345.
In hopes of ending its six-game losing streak, the Clinton Reds baseball team (8-15) headed west on I-40 to take on the Elk City Elks, where they fell 8-0 to extend the streak to seven games.
