Rose Marie Duff
Funeral services for Rose Marie Duff, 84, Clinton resident, were scheduled for 10 a.m. today (Thursday) in Clinton’s Custer Avenue Baptist Church, officiated by Rev. Ross Foster.
Mrs. Duff died Monday, March 9, 2015, in the Oklahoma Heart Hospital at Oklahoma City. She was born April 23, 1930 in rural Clinton in Washita County, the daughter of Henry Gus Wolf and Elizabeth (Wohl) Wolf.
She was raised in Clinton and helped her parents with their farming. She married Otis Lealon Duff on June 4, 1950 in Clinton.
Mrs. Duff worked cleaning houses and was a stay-at-home mom and wife.
Preceding her in death were her parents; brothers, Robert Wolf, Ed Wolf, Henry Wolf Jr.; and sisters, Emma Jane Avery, Margie Wolf and Elizabeth Wolf.
She was a longtime faithful and active member of the Custer Avenue Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday school.
Survivors include her husband of nearly 65 years, Otis Lealon Duff, of the home; a daughter, Linda Brown, and her husband, Rodney, and two sons, Curtis Duff, and his fiancée, Barbara Smith, and David Duff, and his wife, Amy, all of Clinton; a brother, Gilbert Wolf, of Liberal, Kan.; sisters-in-law, Viola Wolf, of Dill City, and Gerry Wolf, of Liberal, Kan.; five grandchildren, Stephanie Miller, and her husband, Clint, of Norman, Chad Duff, and his wife, Krissi, of Tuttle, and Christy Brown, Shelton Duff and Haidyn Duff, all of Clinton. One great grand child, Ruby Miller, of Norman.
Burial will follow in the Parkersburg Cemetery, under the direction of Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home in Clinton.
