Robin Lee Hines

   A private graveside service for Robin Lee Hines, 69, will be held Saturday, June 14, at the Clinton Cemetery.

   Hines died March 20, 2014, in Georgetown, Texas.

   He was born Jan. 26, 1945, in Cordell, the son of D.C. and Hazel (Marshall) Hines.

   He was raised in Cordell and graduated from Cordell High School in 1963. He continued his education at Southwestern Oklahoma State University and earned his bachelor’s degree in 1967.

   Mr. Hines then served in the Army and was a Vietnam veteran. After returning from the war, he moved to Texas where he taught and coached basketball and tennis for more than 25 years. He retired from education in 2010.

   Preceding him in death were his parents, D.C. and Hazel Hines, and his brother, Myron Hines.

   Survivors include his nephews, Ross Hines and his wife, April, of Prosper, Texas, and Stewart Hines and his wife, Kelsey, and their children Kaybree and Hudson Hines of Weatherford; sister-in-law, Ramona Hines of Clinton; and an uncle, Lynwood Marshall and his wife Nancy of Anchorage, Alaska.
