Mollie Ann Washington
Graveside services for Mollie Ann Washington, 94, Clinton resident, will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the Clinton Cemetery, with, minister Jessie Musick officiating.
Mrs. Washington died Thursday, Feb. 27, 2014, in her home in Clinton. She was born Jan. 31, 1920 ,in Henryetta, the daughter of Phillip and Wisey (Hope) McNac.
She was raised in the Henryetta area and worked for many years at the Norbest Turkey plant in Clinton, which is now called Bar-S.
Survivors include four daughters, Josephine Caldwell and Bertha Washington of Clinton, Doris Washington of Elk Grove, Calif., and Rita Romero, wife of Crispin, of Antioch, Calif.; four sons, Willie Murphy Jr. and his wife, Karen, of Henryetta, and Toy Washington and his wife, Raedean, Henry Washington and his wife, Gloria, and Roy Washington and his wife, Doris, all of Clinton; six generations of grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death were her husband, Alfred Washington Sr.; her parents; two daughters, Peggy Ford and Rena Washington; one son, Alfred Jr.; three sisters: Katie Edmundson, Fannie Buckley, and Nancy Murphy; and four brothers, John, Sanford, Chofe (Henry) and Tully McNac.
Visitation will be Wednesday and Thursday, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Arrangements were made at Stanley-Lee Funeral Home in Clinton.
