Chris “JR” Lee
A celebration of life will be held for Chris “JR” Lee, 81, at 2 p.m. Saturday at Grace Chapel in Carbondale, Kan.
He died Thursday, Nov. 30, 2017.
Lee was born in March, 1936, to Oscar Lee and Minnie Hahn in Arapaho. He was raised in Custer City.
He graduated from high school in 1954 and then joined the U.S. Air Force, where he served for four years.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Helenna Lee; his wife, Helen Lee; his sister, Annabelle Wilson; as well as a nephew, Marvin Wilson Jr.
Survivors include two daughters, Nina Fisher and Tina Turner and husband Colin; a son, David Lee and wife Jay; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a niece, Carolyn Ayers.
