Carrie Sue (Cummins) Ford
Funeral services for Carrie Sue (Cummins) Ford, 71-year-old resident of Leedey, were held Tuesday at the First Baptist Church in Leedey.
Mrs. Ford died Saturday, May 3, 2014, in Woodward. She was born Nov. 10, 1942, in Clinton, the daughter of Everett and Juanita Cummins.
She was a member of the class of 1960, at Stafford High School.
On June 15, 1975, she married Larry Ford at the First Church of God in Clinton. They made their home in Leedey where she was a homemaker.
Sue was baptized as a young adult and was a member of the First Church of God in Clinton.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Everett and Juanita Cummins; a sister, JoAnn Schroeder; a grandchild, Bailey Downey; and her father-in-law, Boyd Fawver.
Survivors include her husband, Larry, of the home in Leedey; sons, Jimmy Earl Downey and his wife, Marlene, of Oklahoma City, Michael Ford and his wife, Debbie, of Vidor, Texas; a daughter, Sherry Hall and her husband, Joe, of Lubbock, Texas; a sister, Kathy Steffes and her husband, Mickey, of Clinton; a brother, Bill Cummins and his wife, Connie, of Clinton; brothers-in-law, Sherrill Schroeder of Arkansas and Jim Ford and his wife, Donna, of Stillwater; a sister-in-law, Judy Graybill and her husband, Robert, of Clinton; her mother-in-law, Clara Fawver of Butler; grandchildren, Kirstie, Josh and Daniel Hall, Alyssa Jones and her husband, Marshall, and Aubrey Ford; a great-granddaughter, Kaisley Grace Jones; and several nieces and nephews.
Interment followed the services in Shiloh Cemetery, Butler.
