Taylor named Veterans Center leader

Life at Clinton Veterans Center has been running smoothly ever since its former administrator retired at the end of September, according to the center’s new administrator, Stephanie Taylor. That is thanks in part to a very well-planned hand-off.

Christmas Connection volunteers are getting an early start on the holiday shopping season, and they’re asking the community to start now to donate gifts for less advantaged kids in Clinton and Arapaho.

Brandon Benevento, who allegedly shot and killed his ex-wife April 20 in front of the Arapaho quick shop, was bound over for trial Thursday following a very brief preliminary hearing that lasted only an hour and a half.
