Clinton High commencement 7:30 p.m. Friday
Clinton High School’s 2015 graduating class will participate in commencement exercises at 7:30 p.m. Friday in the R.A. “Dick” Lloyd Amphitheater in McLain Rogers Park. Serving as a guest speaker for the ceremonies will be longtime Oklahoma Gov. George Nigh who wanted to mark his 66th commencement address by speaking alongside Route 66.
Singing the National Anthem for Friday’s exercises will be the senior ensemble. The group will also have special music for the ceremonies.
Supt. Kevin Hime will offer opening comments, followed by the brief speech by Nigh. Taking turns speaking to their fellow classmates will be valedictorian Conner Meacham and co-salutatorians Chloe Sawatzky and Brandon Lewis.
