WOODWARD – Clinton’s first mat action in nearly a week resulted in a prophetic drubbing of the Woodward Boomers, 58-12, Thursday night. Head coach Rob Pitman said in Thursday’s paper that he wanted to see a dominant win and his team delivered.

When residents at Grace Living Center started their “Beanies for Babies” project earlier this year, their goal was to crochet 500 children’s hats and donate them to the University of Oklahoma Children’s Hospital in time for the holidays.

A perfect start through nine games finally came to an end for the Arapaho-Butler boys’ basketball team (9-1) as it lost to the rival Canute Trojans, 54-49, Tuesday night at home.
Head coach Jeff Carlisle said the Indians’ loss was a letdown after winning the Five County Conference Tournament Saturday.
