In a focused effort to provide the best summer program possible for Clinton’s children, Summer Playground, Clinton Public Schools and the City of Clinton have decided to join together in order to form a single all-day summer program for students here.

UNION CITY – There are a few things the Arapaho-Butler boys’ basketball team consistently accomplishes every season, during its playoff runs.

From left are Kiwanians Clifton Bridgeman, Ashley Underwood and David Davis, alerting the community to the club’s annual Pancake Day to be held from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Frisco Conference Center. The event is one of Kiwanis’ biggest fundraisers of the year and helps support its many community projects.

Funeral services for Gary Bighorse, 76, of Clinton will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday in the Clinton Indian Community Center. 
He died Sunday, March 19, 2017, in Clinton.

Karen Whorton

Funeral services for Karen Whorton, 57, of Quanah, Texas, will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday in the Assembly of God Church in Arapaho.
She died Sunday, March 19, 2017, in Quanah, Texas. 

Doris Cook

Doris Nan Cook, 84, died March 18, 2017 in Oklahoma City. She was born March 2, 1933 in Canadian, TX to Celia and Florence (Bettis) Davenport.
