The general public will get its first close-up look at Clinton’s new animal shelter in about 10 days.

Nearly three months after it was stolen, a person has been charged with the theft of $70,000 worth of agricultural equipment from one farm near Thomas and another near Weatherford.
The suspect is Leighton Morlan, 21, of McAlester. He is charged with grand larceny and second-degree burglary.

Chapel services for Sadie Williams, 82, of Clinton, will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday in the Kiesau Memorial Chapel.
She died Wednesday, May 24, 2017, at Grace Living Center in Clinton.
