ANADARKO – The Clinton girls’ basketball season came to a close Thursday afternoon as the Lady Reds rallied from a 21-point deficit but could never finish the job falling 57-49 in their regional matchup with Cache.

Clinton boys’ basketball saw its season end Thursday afternoon as well to Cache with a 78-44 loss in its regional opening round.

A new park going in on the south side of the high school will feature materials from Clinton’s past and present, and will showcase the creativity and skill of the community. 

Mark Thomas

Funeral services for Mark D. Thomas, 61, of Clinton, will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Kiesau Memorial Chapel.
He died Friday, Dec. 30, 2016, in his Clinton home.

Anthony Jones

A memorial service for Anthony Ray Jones, 36, of Dill City, will be held at a later date.  Arrangements are pending with Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home.

Yukon man injured

Shawn Schweigert, 45, of Yukon, was flown to Mercy Hospital following a Saturday morning accident on a Dewey County road approximately ten miles north and one east of Oakwood.

Sharon Trowbridge

haron “Sherry” Trowbridge, 70, of Clinton, will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday in the Kiesau Memorial Chapel.
She died Friday, Dec. 30, 2016, at Grace Living Center in Clinton.
