A 2013 Ford Mustang was destroyed by fire Thursday on Old Highway 66 directly south of the Lucky Star Casino at the east edge of Clinton.
The car belonged to Elizabeth Velazquez of Clinton who was the only occupant. She was not hurt.

Members of the local chapter of the Iron Plainsmen Motorcycle Club want children to know that officers of the law aren’t to be feared, but instead should be viewed as a safe place to turn when they need help.
