27th Annual Noon Lions Golf Classic coming Aug. 2
The oldest charitable golf tournament in Clinton will be teeing off Saturday, Aug. 2 at the Riverside Golf Course.
The 27th Annual Noon Lions Golf Classic continues to thrive and this year is no different.
“It started off as a celebrity tournament,” Lions Club president Jimmie Johnson said. “We’ve had everything from the lieutenant governor to the president of OU and OSU and football coaches and T.V. personalities and all of that. The community has been very supportive over the years. We have some out of town teams that play from Elk City and Sentinel and Thomas and Weatherford. We’ve been supported from around the area. It’s a good, fun tournament.”
