Timothy Ron Cryer
Funeral services for Timothy Ron Cryer, 58, of Custer County, will be held at 10 a.m. Friday in the Kiesau Memorial Chapel, officiated by Doyle Kinney.
Cryer was born May 25, 1955, the son of James Lester Cryer and Edna Sarah (Kolb) Cryer in Clinton.
He died Monday, Jan. 6, 2014, in the University of Oklahoma Hospital at Oklahoma City. He had been battling cancer for three years.
Raised in Clinton, Cryer attended Stafford Grade School and later graduated from Clinton High School in 1973. He made trucking his lifetime career, and his most recent job was with Beers Trucking Company.
Cryer was a member of the First Christian Church. He enjoyed building and flying remote control airplanes; and he held his pilot’s license at one time. He also enjoyed cars and fishing.
Survivors include his daughter, Kyla Beddo and her husband, Joshua, of Moore; his mother, Edna Cryer, of Clinton; a sister, Tabby Cryer, of Clinton; and a brother, Cedric Cryer and his wife, Lisa, of Celeste, Texas.
He is also survived by grandchildren, Luke and Dana Sambrano.
Cryer was preceded in death by his father.
Burial will be in the Clinton Cemetery under the direction of Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home.
