Margaret Elizabeth Curd
Funeral services for Margaret Elizabeth Curd, 88, of Clinton, will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Strode Funeral Home, 610 S. Duncan, in Stillwater.
Mrs. Curd died Tuesday, Feb. 4, 2014. She was born Nov. 21, 1925, in Stillwater, the daughter of Leo Martin and Margaret Virginia (Murphy) Jardot.
She was a graduate of Stillwater High School and had taken some courses at then Oklahoma A&M.
For most of her working life, Mrs. Curd owned of a wholesale company.
She married Harvey “Billy” Edward Curd.
Her church was the Bible Baptist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Carol Bentley and her husband, Wayne, of Clinton; a granddaughter, Heather Cooper, of Stillwater; a grandson, Shawn Curd, of Whitefield; four great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Leo Martin and Margaret Virginia Jardot; her husband, Harvey “Billy” Curd; a son, David Martin Curd; and a brother, Louis Martin Jardot.
Burial will be in the Sunset Cemetery at Stillwater.
The family suggests memorial contributions in Mrs. Curd’s honor be made to the Western Oklahoma Hospice, 514 Avant, Clinton, or to the American Cancer Society.
