Howard Kerwin Murray Sr.
Funeral services for Howard Kerwin Murray Sr., 66, will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the Cheyenne and Arapaho Community Hall in Clinton, with Gerald Panana and Michael Murray officiating.
The wake will be from 6 until 9 p.m. tonight (Thursday) at the Cheyenne and Arapaho Community Hall in Clinton
Murray died Monday, June 16, 2014, in his home located in Clinton. He was born March 4, 1948 in Red Rock, the son of Kerwin Murray and Henryetta Wilson.
He was raised in many communities in the Oklahoma area. He also served in the Army of the United States of America and was self employed as a roofer.
Survivors include his wives, Georgia Murray of Tyrone and Ronna Redshin of Clinton; five daughters, Tonya Hightower of Liberal, Kan., Misty Murray Nienke of Guymon, Barbara Murray of El Reno, Kim Redshin of Clinton, Eunice Burns of Clinton; seven sons, Chris Murray of Tyrone, Michael Murray of Tyrone, Brian Murray of Clinton, William Murray of Clinton, Phillip Murray of Clinton, Ronald “Sonny” Redshin of Clinton, James Burns, Jr. of Clinton and Andy Murray of Clinton; one sister, Esther Murray of Clinton; four brothers, Bill Murray of Ada, Jay Johnston of California, Louis Whiteshield of Amarillo, Texas, James Lunsford of Amarillo, Texas; 47 grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.
Preceding him in death were both of his parents; and one infant son, Howard K. Murray Jr.
Burial will be at the Clinton Indian Cemetery, under the direction of Stanley-Lee Funeral Home, Clinton.
