Billie Gail (Williams) McCormick
Funeral services for Billie Gail (Williams) McCormick, 83, Clinton resident, will be at 1 p.m. Monday in the Kiesau Memorial Chapel of the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home in Clinton, officiated by Patrick Peters.
By the request of Mrs. McCormick, her body will be cremated and buried in the Clinton Cemetery.
Mrs. McCormick died Wednesday morning in the Weatherford Living Center. She was born Dec. 20, 1930 in the Parkersburg area west of Clinton, the daughter of William Paul Williams and Vesta (Morgan) Williams.
Mrs. McCormick was raised in Clinton and graduated from Clinton High School in 1948. Soon after graduation she was married to James McCormick in Clinton.
They made their home in Clinton, and she had worked for the Morrison Wholesale Company and spent several years with the Oklahoma General Hospital as well as Clinton Regional Hospital, where she retired.
She was a member of the Church of Christ.
Preceding her in death were her husband, her parents, an infant daughter and a sister, Marilyn.
Survivors include three daughters, Suzanne Chaney, of Weatherford, Rebecca Mills and her husband, John, of California and Victoria Hester and her husband, Tim, of Colorado; three sisters, Gwen Williams, of California, Maxine Thompson, of Iowa, and Kathleen Miller, of Elk City; two brothers, Melvin Williams, of Texas and Gary Williams, of Clinton; eight grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will began at the funeral home at 1 p.m. Sunday.
