Woman dies after being hit by car
A Weatherford woman was killed and two members of a Burns Flat family were seriously hurt in separate accidents involving automobiles Saturday.
Kasey Lynn Lougee, 23, suffered fatal injuries about 11:45 p.m. when she was hit by another auto after stopping on the shoulder of State Highway 54 south of Weatherford and getting out of the pickup she had been driving.
Earlier, about 3:15 p.m., Anthony Lynn McAnally, 32, and his step-daughter, Kassi Cooper, 11, were injured when the pickup they were in collided with a car at the intersection of Washita County roads 1170 and 2160 two miles north of Dill City. Both victims were taken initially to Integris Clinton Regional Hospital before being transferred to the University of Oklahoma Medical Center in Oklahoma City.
