Wilson girl shot twice, says M.E.
Weatherford teenager JaRay Wilson was killed by two gunshot wounds to her head, the State Medical Examiner’s Office announced Wednesday.
The M.E.’s report indicated one bullet entered the right temporal region of Miss Wilson’s skull and the other the right frontal region. That one had a trajectory which appears to be downward, the report said, going from front to back.
Wilson’s skeletal remains were found Dec. 17, 2013, in a shallow grave approximately 1¾ miles north of Weatherford 14 months after she disappeared at age 16. The discovery came with the assistance of a “cooperating individual,” so far unnamed, who told investigators he saw Tucker McGee shoot her at that location and hide the body. The C.I. indicated he accompanied McGee back to the location the next day when they buried the body.
