Ten cattle killed on I-40 at Weatherford
Ten head of cattle were killed Sunday night at Weatherford when they wandered onto Interstate 40 and were hit by three semis and two smaller vehicles.
Trooper Chris Newcomb of the Oklahoma Highway Patrol said all five vehicles hit cows.
Major Todd Doyals of the Weatherford Police Department said the cattle belonged to Glenn Dickey. Assistant Fire Chief Mike Karlin said they had come from a location about an eighth of a mile away on the south side of the interstate.
