Sheriff's dog helps end New Year's Eve fun
Lawmen from three agencies, along with the Custer County Sheriff’s Office K-9 dog, apprehended a Clinton man Tuesday night just before the new year began following brief vehicle and foot pursuits.
The suspect is John Yelloweagle, 34. He is expected to be charged with a variety of crimes including repeat offenses of driving under the influence of intoxicants and possession of a controlled substance, plus possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, transporting an open container of beer, attempting to elude a peace officer, resisting an officer, and knowingly concealing stolen property. He was already wanted on two outstanding warrants stemming from 2007.
