Political party affiliation changes needed by March 31
Oklahomans who want to elect the nominee of a particular political party should make sure they are registered correctly no later than Monday, March 31, according to Custer County Election Board Secretary Ann Brown.
“During even-numbered years, voters are not allowed to make party affiliation changes between April 1 and Aug. 31, so they need to get changes made by March 31.”
Brown said registrations especially pick up during an election year.
Over the past few months, Democrats have returned to majority party status in Custer County.
