Opportunities’ pantry shelves getting bare
The Opportunities Inc. food pantry is looking bare these days. It needs canned goods and “anything kids like to eat,” said center cook Kimberly Teltow.
Among the items mentioned were macaroni and cheese and canned pasta products. Donations may be dropped off at the Opportunities offices in the basement at 200 S. Ninth St. in Clinton. But an opportunity is coming up next week to help restock the pantry shelves, as well.
On Saturday, May 10, Clinton and Arapaho letter carriers will join those from more than 120 cities in central and western Oklahoma to help “Stamp Out Hunger” by collecting canned food donations from households on their routes.
