New assistant superintendent ‘getting feet wet’
Walking into the office of new Clinton Assistant Superintendent Tyler Bridges, it’s obvious what one of his priorities is. He had several thick grant notebooks stacked on his desk, and he will be in the hunt for millions of dollars in grant funding not only from government sources but also from a variety of corporations and organizations, including Fortune 500 companies.
Bridges and his wife, Mandi, who celebrated their 10th anniversary in June, purchased a home at auction in Sights Acres and have been making improvements to it. They’re just now taking tours around town to become better acquainted with the community. Bridges has been paying visits to the various school sites in Clinton and was on his way to the historic Clinton Middle School Tuesday morning.
