Mysterious emergency was seizure
A man who ran off Interstate 40 about 10 a.m. Saturday in Clinton was having a seizure, Undersheriff Kenneth Tidwell said Tuesday, and what appeared at first to be fresh stab wounds was determined by a doctor to be old ones.
Tidwell said the man was 72 years old and from Missouri. He ran off the interstate one mile east of U.S. Highway 183.
Clinton police were the first emergency personnel on the scene, with the Oklahoma Highway Patrol and Custer County Sheriff’s Office also responding.
