Informants key to McGee arrest
This past Tuesday, law enforcement reinforced their suspicions that Tucker McGee shot and killed JaRay Wilson by monitoring a conversation between McGee and another individual cooperating with authorities, an affidavit written by OSBI Agent David Sauls states.
The affidavit was filed Friday with an information sheet formally charging McGee, 19, with murdering the 16-year-old Wilson. Authorities believe she was shot Oct. 14 or 15, 2012, apparently with a .22-caliber pistol owned by the defendant’s father.
McGee made his first court appearance Friday, accompanied by Clinton attorney Randy Meacham. Associate District Judge Jill Weedon complied with a request from Assistant District Attorney Angela Marsee and refused to set bond.
