I-40 light work set for tomorrow
Public Service Company will be replacing two more steel poles Wednesday along Interstate 40 and is asking drivers to be especially careful.
Larry Clifton, supervisor of distribution system for Clinton, Elk City and Weatherford, said at one time nine poles were down and two still are. He said they’ll be put back up Wednesday beginning at 8:30 a.m.
Eastbound Exit 65A, which leads into Gary Boulevard from the west, will be closed Wednesday morning and westbound Exit 65, which leads down to 10th Street from the east, will be closed after lunch.
