Has 2007 Cordell case been solved? Man charged with murder
Ronnie Denny Jr., long considered a “person of interest” in the 2007 disappearance of Cordell resident Melissa Flores, was arrested late Monday night on a murder warrant out of Washita County.
Denny, 35, was arrested at his current home in Princeton, Texas, northeast of Dallas, said Jessica Brown, spokesperson for the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation.
Because the warrant resulted from a grand jury investigation in Oklahoma, Ms. Brown said she could not talk about the case, even to confirm that the victim was the long-missing Melissa Flores. A district judge had ordered the indictment sealed until Denny was arrested.
