Acre-Feet of Available Water at Foss if Current Drought Continues

Foss could be dry in six years

Half 2009 water gone

If things continue as they are, Foss Reservoir will basically be dry by 2020, a Bureau of Reclamation spokesman said Monday night.
That of course is only six years away.
Matt Warren, facility operations supervisor for the BOR, said a bureau study in 2009 showed that Foss can hold 169,300 acre-feet of water. Ronnie Thompson, manager of the water treatment plant at Foss, said it had 85,680 acre-feet at the end of January, roughly half the 2009 figure.
